This morning, I took the ferry from Penang to Langkawi which took about 3 hours. On the ferry, I met Franzi from southern Germany and we decided to spend our time here on the island together. We booked two beds in the same dormitory and spent most of the day at the beach and in the water – 33 degrees Celsius you guys!
We also explored this part of the island a little by walking around and looking at some shops – it’s pretty touristy but the beach is simply gorgeous! At night, we had dinner at one of the little street places and treated ourselves to some mango lassies for dessert. Tomorrow, we’ll rent a scooter to drive around the island – can’t wait !!
