Langkawi is a beautiful island with amazing beaches and just a good place to hang out an relax. You can’t really party here, there’s not a big variety of hostels you can stay at and it’s kinda hard to meet people but if you’re already with somebody it’s just great to have a look around and chill on one of the gorgeous beaches. However, you should definitely get a scooter, since there’s no other way to get around the island and you don’t wanna be stuck in the touristy part of the main beach strip. I enjoyed my time here a lot and one highlight was most definitely the scooter day yesterday with Franzi!
After two days here on Langkawi I feel like I’ve seen all the important places on the island (you can drive around the whole island in one day, including stops here and there) and although I loved it here it doesn’t hurt to go back to Penang. The only thing I really didn’t like about this little trip was the freezer like ferry that took me here .. Other than that it’s been a great two days with gorgeous beaches, great views, nice people and good food here on Langkawi !
