Yay for being a certified diver now!
We had a great time in Ko Phi Phi – especially under water – and got really lucky with the diving school as well as with our instructor, Juan, who was really cool (from his looks he would’ve made a cute surf instructor as well), and he even took us to a nice rooftop bar last night. Saying good bye is as always hard, but I’m excited for the next island and the new adventures to come. Off to Ko Tao!
Probably the cutest kid I’ve ever seen. She sat in her cart in front of a fruit stall where I was just about to buy some mango, when she grabbed my pants and started playing around with my legs. Then she discovered my bag, jewelry and money and when I smiled at her she would smile back with the biggest and happiest smile one could imagine!
It’s the little things like these that make me realize why I love traveling and especially backpacking so much. It simply makes me happy!

Nice achievement with the diving license! Pam would love to get her scuba certification. Maybe you can tell her how wonderful it is.
