Banana Bread


VEGAN BANANA BREAD w/ NUTS & BLUEBERRIES


THE RECIPE:

  • 3 ripe bananas (two for the dough, one as decoration on top)
  • 70g oats
  • 170g spelt flour
  • 4 tbsp mixed nuts
  • 120ml maple syrup/honey
  • 4 tbsp coconut oil or other oil
  • 4 tbsp oat milk
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • pinch of salt
  • pinch of baking powder
  • cinnamon
  • blueberries + dark chocolate

Blend together all ingredients except the blueberries and chocolate, leaving some chunks of the nuts. Stir in the blueberries and chopped dark chocolate and pour the dough into the baking dish. Place the leftover banana on top as decoration and drizzle some maple syrup on the banana. Bake at 180 degrees Celsius for about 40 minutes.


BEST FLOURLESS BANANA BREAD


THE RECIPE:

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 140g almond butter
  • 50g oats
  • 1 egg
  • pinch of salt
  • pinch of baking powder
  • cinnamon
  • dark chocolate chips (optional)
  • 1 scoop protein powder (optional)

Blend together all ingredients and bake in the preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius for 30 minutes.


CHOCOLATE SWIRL BANANA BREAD


THE RECIPE

  • 1 cup wholemeal flour
  • 2 mashed bananas
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp peanut butter
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • pinch of salt
  • chocolate sauce to swirl in on top (1 part coconut oil, 1 part cocoa powder, 1 part agave syrup)

Combine all ingredients and fill into a baking form. Swirl in the chocolate sauce and bake at 180 degrees Celsius for about 20 minutes.


CHICKPEA BANANA BREAD


THE RECIPE

  • 2 bananas
  • 250g chickpeas
  • 10g chia seeds
  • 2 tbsp nut butter (I used homemade sunflower seed butter)
  • 20g protein powder
  • pinch of salt
  • pinch of baking powder
  • cinnamon & vanilla (to taste)

Combine all ingredients and bake at 180 degrees Celsius for about 30 minutes.

Alternatively, you can add 10g of cacao powder, to make it a Chocolate-Chickpea-Banana-Bread.


CHOCOLATE BANANA BREAD


THE RECIPE:

  • 1 ripe banana
  • 20g cocoa powder
  • 40g protein powder
  • 100g flour
  • 1 egg
  • 200ml almond milk
  • pinch of baking powder
  • sweetener of choice
  • cinnamon
  • dark chocolate chips (optional)

Mash the banana, then add all other ingredients and combine well. Bake in the preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius for 25-30 minutes.


PALEO BANANA BREAD


THE RECIPE

  • 4 bananas
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla powder
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 200g ground almonds (or any other ground nuts)
  • pinch of salt
  • pinch of baking powder
  • cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil (optional)
  • desiccated coconut (optional)

Combine all ingredients and bake at 180 degrees Celsius for about 35 minutes.
